Impacting the Future:
Both Theirs and Ours
A
s we step into the second half of 2025, I want to thank you for the
difference you’ve made through Fostering Success Act. Your support
has opened doors for young people aging out of foster care – helping
them attend college, learn a trade, secure safe and affordable housing,
and find the confidence to build independent lives.
Because of you, we’ve seen remarkable success stories. One young woman became
the first in her family to attend AND graduate college. Another young man, once
unsure of his path, is now a certified welder at a well-known, national corporation
headquartered in Atlanta. These achievements are only possible because you chose
to direct your state tax dollars toward hope and opportunity.
I am proud that our work has not gone unnoticed and the Georgia legislature has
amended the bill to now include adopted and Department of Juvenile Justice
system youth. This allows us to serve even more deserving young people.
There is still exciting work to do, and with your continued partnership, we will ensure
that every young adult leaving foster care in Georgia has the tools to thrive. Thank
you again for your generosity and belief in these young people. Together, we are
building brighter futures – one life at a time.
With gratitude,
Rick Jackson, Chairman & CEO
Jackson Healthcare
